Hi everyone! My name is Sam Jindal and I am the founder of Typing for Tomorrow. I first started taking typing seriously when I discovered TypingClub(learn more on the resources page). Since then, I’ve built a real passion for typing, reaching speeds over 150 words per minute and breaking school records. Discovering TypingClub showed me how fun and rewarding typing can be, and now I want to share that same excitement and confidence with all of you. Outside of typing, I enjoy playing tennis, reading, and watching sports.

Typing is Important

Schoolwork
A 2022 EdTech report found that over 80% of U.S. middle and high school assignments are now submitted through platforms like Google Docs, compared to less than 20% a decade ago, making typing an essential everyday skill.

Government and Healthcare Forms
Everything from FAFSA financial aid to doctor’s office intake forms has shifted online, requiring strong typing skills to navigate essential services; one simple mistake can delay benefits recieved.

Job Applications
From resumes to online application portals, every step of the job search depends on clear, professional, and efficient typing

AP Exams
With the College Board moving Advanced Placement (AP) exams online, students must type essays and short answers quickly and accurately to keep up with strict time limits

Our Mission and Vision
Typing for Tomorrow exists to turn typing from an overlooked skill into a lifelong advantage. We combine a student-authored course, creative games, and community donations so that every child, no matter their background, can type with confidence and keep pace in a fast-paced digital world.
